"Well that would be a certain question for yourself, but one I might ask as ones who have business here do not usually start off destroying property. Not exactly the behavior I would condone myself to if I was under someone elses hospitality." Alezand responded to the obviously non directed inquiery. "And true, I am curious as to what a hot headed member of the Wojek is doing here on this early morn? And in my kitchen, I might add. I must insist that you calm yourself and then start explaining." Alezand's last words turned from his usual neutral intellectual tone to a slight bit of coldness as he revealed is disdain for those lacking in self discipline. Alezand leaned against the adjacent cupboard and tossed the flask in the air and caught it in his non chalant form. Generally, Alezand held high regard for the Wojek and the Legion in general. They were his allies, and he had many trusted friends in the guild. But most kept their passion in check and unleashed it in a form that protected all of Ravinica's deniziens. Clearly, this was not one of those well trained knights. It almost embarassed Alezand. Almost...

Vitu-Ghazi, the Unity Tree, was located in the center of Ravnica. It was told that it was the source for the magical power of the guild pact and served as a symbol for the unity of the guilds in the plane. However, some could argue that point. Either way, it was no place for a 'jek or someone from the Legion. Well, one such person was asked to be here for an investigation.
"Why the hell do I need to be here?" Carmaus spoke to himself more than anyone else. He had exited a near by room probably just finishing some sort of interagation. He had also thrown and broken a chair within that same room. A certain case that he didn't care for and he had no true business being here. He was on his way however, there was another that was looking at thim. Probably one of the ledev that were stationed here. It was known that the Conclave had some military might, but they weren't the enforcers of the law such as the Boros was. However, they were protectors in another sense.

This is an update: The previous list is all but examples. You are permitted to be of any race and any class that your mind can think of. If it is something that I am not familiar with I will ask for background information before I approve of it or not. Either way, let your mind soar.

Guard duty plays a good deal in a Guildmage's job. This fact was something most would know, as it wasn't at all uncommon to see one of the ebony figures perched unmoving at any certain door. They'd also serve as body guards in some cases, their intimidating form and lack of interest in life making them very effective.
Xisoreh wasn't any different. The problem was that his luck in job assignments was horrible--guard duty was great, selling dead and quickly rotting Gruul bodies was not. But fortunately he'd managed to find a jumpy looking Golgari elf to sell to. Now he was just sitting there, in front of the shrines, doing nothing.
Holding back another yawn (and cursing the need for it), his eyes wandered, eventually settling upon a particularly long winded Azorius politician. The guy'd been here for a while now--negociating the price of something Xisoreh could care less about with an Orzhov 'priest'. It was sadly the most interesting thing going on at the time.

Striking out on ones own « Result #7 on Jan 15, 2007, 11:29pm »
The hall was rather empty in the early morning as Alezand stepped down the stairs, silently decending to go out on his usual patrol of the City. But even the most seasoned of troops needed preparation and nourishment.
The early sunlight streamed through the tall windows, dapled by the thick foliage that naturally surrounded the Hall. That was the great thing of being a part of the Conclave. It's residences and lands were ever beautiful, never losing their wonder morning after morning. Alezand loved the glow of th greens and browns and other soft, viberant tones that flowed through this place. They stilled his heart no matter what was on his mind.
He made his way through the various grand atriums and onward to the kitchen. Though the place was closed at the moment, Alezand still managed to slip in over a counter. He lowered his pack off his shoulder and opened it to begin loading it with some fruit and bread and dried meat for the road. Though he did plan on returning that evening, he still packed in case he was forced to stay out longer than intended. Despite being a urbanized region, the city still proved as wild and dangerous as the wilderness itself.
He was reaching for a flask of wine when a noise alerted him to ones presence. His eyes swiftly found the source of the disturbance, his reflexes held in check by common sense that no danger should be found in the Great Hall...

Alezand Jozlyn : Human Soldier Knight Green/White Swampwalk
Alezand is a rogue hero. He wanders about the guilds as a vigilante and lone officer of the peace. Many wonder as to his righteousness and why he was not a part of the honorable Boros, whom also work to keep the peace. But if one were to examine him closer, the reasons are quite clear. Alezand is as comfortable in the thick of Natures being as he is prowling the backalleys of the City. He is a skilled warrior, but not wishes war, where as Boros' ties to the chaotic and warmaking fervor of red puts him at odds with their method sometimes. He does aid them in many ways and does have ties there as well as in the mysterious Simic. He abides law and enforces not only for the Guildpact, the people but for Nature and order.
He most distastes darker forces, such as the monstrosities that the Golgari, Orzhav, and Dimir conjur. Undead, vampires and scores of vile beings are his best targets. Such unnatural course and even worse, their use to unholy deeds threatens all the good that the Pact represents. But he knows that constant frenzy against the darker guilds will break the Pact into war, so he works behind the scenes. For now...
